I am very grateful for the opportunities I have
experienced both academically and athletically throughout my four years. I came to St.
Lawrence because of the emphasis on strong academics and how that translates into the
hockey program. I was a member of the women's hockey team for four years, which significantly shaped my SLU experience. At times it proved to be difficult juggling both,
but I feel that I truly benefited from that.
I graduated with a psychology degree and sports studies and exercise science minor. I declared a psychology major in hopes of going into physical therapy with
a concentration in sports medicine. The psych. department at SLU offers a wide
variety of courses through which I was able to experience several different areas of
psychology. Memory and cognition with Dr. Serge Onyper was one of my most memorable
classes during my undergrad. I am truly grateful for the entire department's expertise
from which I have greatly benefited.
