I was first drawn towards St. Lawrence University for its rural location with breath-taking scenery, strong sense of community, and the newly added Johnson Hall of Science. At first, I was hesitant at the idea of a liberal arts education; however, upon attending St. Lawrence University I have grown to appreciate all that it has brought me. Here at St. Lawrence University, the true liberal arts experience has allowed me to explore a wide range of academia, and become a well-rounded individual capable of tackling complex problems, effectively and efficiently.

Currently, I am working Dr. Matthew Skeels on my senior research project, which involves using High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to determine caffeine and chlorogenic acids content of instant coffee to discriminate between arabica and robusta coffee beans.
