Student's Around the World

The Geology Department recognizes the value of studying abroad and the exceptional opportunities for field study it provides and encourages our students to participate.  Many of our students have taken advantage of study abroad in places, like New Zealand, Australia, France, Austria, Denmark, British Columbia, and Thailand; often completing one or more core geology courses and obtaining a unique perspective.  As part of their international study they have traveled to Greenland, The Alpine Fault in New Zealand, the Super High Resolution Ion Microprobe in Perth, Australia, the French Alps, the Guilin Karst Forest in China, among others.
