Services Provided

Individual Counseling

This service provides an opportunity for self-focused exploration of feeling, attitudes, and behaviors in a collaborative process between you and your counselor to address the issues that are concerning you. Our goal is to provide an open, supportive, and confidential environment to facilitate your exploration of your personal and interpersonal life.

Support Groups

Groups offer the experience of interacting meaningfully with others in a supportive environment. They may be arranged around a common issue or topic and vary from semester to semester.

Resource Library

Counseling Services offers a variety of self-help books and tapes that may be used in the office or checked out for extended use.

Workshops Available

Small Group Workshops

Various workshops are offered throughout the year for the campus community. Staff members are available to work with students and campus community to plan and present programs of interest. Past programs have included but have not been limited to:

  • Assertiveness
  • Stress management
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Alcohol/drug use and abuse
  • Eating disorders and concerns
  • Sleep hygiene
  • Wellness

Eating disorders Support Program

Alcohol and Drug Support Group 


This group is be focused on helping you gain better control of your use of alcohol or drugs and/or help you remain sober and maintain your goals. This group will help you investigate why you use alcohol and other drugs, investigate other alternatives and offer support as you work to reduce or abstain from use. This group is open to students weekly during the academic year.
