St. Lawrence Magazine

Fall 2015

The St. Lawrence of today exults in experiential learning. That means getting out of the traditional classroom and acquiring an education by doing something. We could go on for pages about this, because a lot of it is being done at St. Lawrence, but we settled on a few topics that we think set us apart: how easy it is to start your own organization, whether it’s a photography club or Model UN; the two-way power of community-based learning; the self-designed multi-field major.

You’ll also read about students’ summer research, the Alumni Council’s centennial, a really old book, and lots more. Enjoy!
