Over 60 alumni, faculty and friends attended a reunion celebrating the 10th anniversary of St. Lawrence's Adirondack Semester program. The event was held near the site of the program in late September.
Participants from all 10 years of the program attended; the longest journey was made from the state of Washington. Co-organizer Louise Gava '07 reports that "Evidence of the values the semester promotes, including those of sustainability and community, were present in all aspects of the reunion. All vegetables were sourced locally; most other food was organic. Everyone signed up to help either cook or clean up, so that even those organizing could enjoy their time with friends." Other co-organizers were Katie Craig '08 and Louis Zeppieri '07.
The weekend's schedule included live music; tours of the current program site; a trip to the local bog; a panel discussion of the program's evolution; and a slide show featuring photos from all 10 years.
