Braving one of the few snowstorms to hit the North Country to date this winter,
the sisters of Kappa Delta Sigma at St. Lawrence and the brothers of Sigma
Phi Epsilon at Clarkson University held the Second Annual "Puck Run" for charity
prior to the St. Lawrence-Clarkson men's ice hockey game at Appleton Arena
on January 23.
About 30 members of the sorority and fraternity began at Cheel Arena and ran the 11.2
miles to Appleton, finishing just in time to drop it on the ice for the game.
The event raised approximately $3,000, given to Canton-Potsdam Hospital in a
presentation also held right before the game.
