Sigma Gamma Epsilon, the Earth science honor society at St. Lawrence, recently elected
three new members.
Ashley Robin '12, Molly Patterson '12 and Peter Christoffersen '13 were welcomed to the organization in the fall 2010 semester.
Sigma Gamma Epsilon recognizes academic achievement and professionalism in the Earth sciences; the St. Lawrence Eta Xi chapter is affiliated with the national honorary society.
Membership is available to students who have completed at least 10 semester hours or 15 quarter-hours in Earth science courses and has maintained a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 system) in all Earth science courses, together with an overall GPA of 2.67 in all college courses.
