When I first arrived at St. Lawrence University, I was largely unsure of what I wanted to study. I was interested in many different disciplines within the sciences but I initially had a difficult time deciding which was right for me. When I took my first class in physics, I felt an immediate connection that made me want to continue taking more classes. Physics was so profound to me since it could be used to explain aspects of nearly every other discipline within the sciences. I am extremely happy to be a student at St. Lawrence and the physics department has offered me tremendous support. Upon graduating in the spring of 2013, I plan on pursuing a graduate degree in applied physics.
