Merit Scholarships

Merit Scholarships, Awards and Programs

Each year, St. Lawrence awards tens of millions of dollars in financial aid. Some of this is based on your family's financial need, and the remainder is based on the strength of your application. Each student can only be awarded one scholarship. If a student was to qualify for more than one, the scholarship which is the most prestigious will be awarded.

As part of your application review and decision determination, you will automatically be considered for each of the following four scholarships:

Our Trustee Scholarship is awarded to the top male and top female, first-year students. The scholarship is based on academic excellence, character and leadership. The amount of the scholarship covers full tuition for up to four years or eight semesters.

Our Momentum Scholarship is awarded to incoming students based on academic and co-curricular achievements, as well character and citizenship. This $128,000 scholarship ($32,000 per year) is awarded for up to four years or eight semesters.
