International Student Services

Mission Statement

International Student Services supports the intellectual, ethical, personal, and social development of St. Lawrence's international students as they explore their place and purpose as engaged learners in a diverse and interdependent University and world.  We recognize that many of today's students identify with multiple cultures and we are excited to welcome these students to the St. Lawrence family.   We are here to help all students gain a global perspective as they develop as individuals in the pursuit of education.

For fall semester of 2023, we are a community of 239 undergraduate and graduate students from 80 nations. Our office primarily works with non-immigrant students on F-1 and J-1 visa, however, we also serve as a resource for global citizens from within and outside the U.S. From orientation till post-graduation, we work collaboratively with our students so that they can achieve their goals as students and as civically engaged learners of this global world.
