Alison Rogers Knight '91
A three-time All America in lacrosse who helped her teams to three straight NCAA tournament appearances and a standout in field hockey, Alison Rogers Knight played in three straight NCAA semifinal games in the 1989 lacrosse, 1989 field hockey and 1990 lacrosse tournaments.
Alison, who also played a year of ice hockey, was a four-year star in both field hockey and lacrosse. She was a key contributor in two of the best field hockey seasons in Saint history, helping the 1987 team to a 13-6-1 record and an NCAA tournament berth and the 1989 team to a 14-6-1 record and the NCAA semifinals. A two-time All NYSWCAA selection, her field hockey teams compiled 39 wins in her four seasons and the 1989 team finished second in the NYSWCAA championships.
She was all state and All America on three straight NCAA lacrosse teams including back-to-back final four teams. She scored 26 goals in 1989 as the Saints earned the NCAA semifinals in a 13-3 season and had 36 and earned first team All America in 1990 as the Saints went 15-1, won their first ever NYSWCAA championship and finished second in the NCAA tournament. She had 49 goals as a senior and earned second team All America, helping the team to the NCAA quarterfinals and an 11-5 record.
Also an outstanding student, Alison was a finalist for the Senior Scholar-Athlete Award.
