Richard W. Seeler '41
Dick Seeler is the only tennis player in St. Lawrence history to complete four seasons of intercollegiate play without a defeat in singles competition.
Competing against colleges and universities with major programs, Dick established the standard for individual performance. He also played basketball, was active in his fraternity and was an outstanding student.
He spent five years in military service during World War II, serving in the Persian Gulf Command and held the rank of captain at his discharge in 1946. He has been in the real estate business since 1946 and is president of Cross & Brown Company. He has also served as real estate consultant to some of the nation’s largest corporations. He is a former president of the New York City Jaycees and is trustee of the Brooklyn Home for Children.
