Oliver D. Appleton '27

The captain of the University’s first ice hockey team, Oliver Appleton also participated in football and lacrosse as an undergraduate and was a member of Kixioc.

He served as a member of the Alumni Council following graduation and was a University Trustee.

St. Lawrence’s 18 hole golf course is named in his honor and his contributions to the University have played key roles in the development of the University riding program and Appleton Arena.
