Hoy ECAC Coach of the Year, O'Connor, Franz Earn All Star Spots

May 30: St. Lawrence University baseball coach Pete Hoy has been named ECAC-Upstate Division III Coach of the Year and a pair of Saints were named to the all star squad.
Hoy, who led the Saints to a school record 28-14 record and the Liberty League regular season title for the first time in program history, is 47-34 in two seasons as Saint coach. He was also the Liberty League Coach of the Year.
Sophomore Khifer O'Connor, who hit .390 and led the Saints with 44 runs driven in was named the ECAC Upstate third baseman while junior center fielder Carter Franz, who led the team with a .429 batting average, had 26 extra base hits including four triples and six homers and had a .687 slugging percentage, was named as an outfielder.
