May 4: The 2012 Liberty League men's lacrosse tournament gets underway this afternoon, as the nationally-ranked No. 19 St. Lawrence University Saints head to Schenectady, NY to take on No. 11 Union College at 4:00pm in a semifinal game.  Fans will have the opportunity to watch the game live or follow along on live stats.

Union is the No. 2 seed in this year's conference tournament, and is led by the conference's Defensive Player of the Year, Sean Aaron, between the pipes.  Aaron has backstopped the Dutchmen to a 10-3 overall record, while the Saints, who had six All-Conference honorees, enter at 12-2.

"We're excited about the opportunity to be playing this afternoon against a very tough Union team," said St. Lawrence head coach Mike Mahoney, the league's Coach of the Year for 2012.  "We had a great one-goal battle back in March and expect another good one today."

Union College will be providing free live stats this afternoon when the game begins, as well as a live video broadcast of the game for a fee.

The winner of today's game will square off with either top-seeded RIT or Clarkson on Sunday afternoon in the Liberty League championship game.
