The Saints prep for their season with scrimmages against Division I teams like Niagara

St. Lawrence University's men's soccer program has established itself as one of the most successful on any level.  The Saints have compiled a 224-48-26 record since 1998, one of the best in the country over that stretch of time. The Saints went undefeated in the regular season with a long reign as the top-ranked team in the country in 2011, advancing to the round of 16 in the NCAA tournament and hosted the regional finals. They continued their trend of success in 2012, appearing in the NCAA tournament for the 17th time in program history and the 15th under the direction of head coach Bob Durocher.

The Saints made nine straight NCAA tournament appearances from 1998 to 2006 and were the host institution for the 2002 NCAA Division III championship. Since the Liberty League's inception at the start of the 2004-2005 academic year, the Saints have been consistent as they have appeared in six of the eight league tournament championship games, taking the tournament title in 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2010.

The Saints had their first unbeaten and untied regular season in 1998 and went 16-0-2 including post-season play. The 1999 squad was 17-0-0 in the regular season and then became the first team in NCAA Division III history and the ninth men's team among all NCAA divisions to run the table en route to a national title, finishing 22-0-0. Over the past two seasons, St. Lawrence has combined for an overall record of 32-4-4.
Bob Durocher took over as head coach in 1990 and quickly established his program as one of the best in the nation. Through the 2012 season his teams had produced 19 individual national All-Americans, including the 1999 national Player of the Year, and 78 regional All-Americans.

The Saints play their home games on Sandy MacAllaster Field, which opened in 2001.
