Saints Draw Jumbos in NCAA First Round

The Saints will take on the Jumbos of Tufts University in the NCAA First Round.

Feb. 25:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team will head to Medford, MA to take on regional host #10 Tufts University in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Division III championships on Friday, March 1.  Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 pm in the Cousens Gymnasium. 

The Saints enter the weekend 19-8 having captured the Liberty League tournament crown last Saturday with a 51-48 victory over William Smith.  Meanwhile, the Jumbos (23-3) earned an at-large bid after being knocked off as top seed in the NESCAC quarterfinals, 60-54, by eighth seeded Bowdoin.  Babson (23-2) and SUNY New-Paltz (24-3) are the other matchup in the bracket.
