Brigitte Tousignant is competing in CSA Individual Nationals at Amherst

St. Lawrence University's Brigitte Tousignant lost her opening round match in four games to Samantha Matos of Bates in the 2012 College Squash Association Individual Championships and was relegated to the consolation round on Friday. The tournament is being conducted at Amherst College.

Tousignant lost her first match 11-6, 11-8, 3-11, 11-6 but bunced back with a 3-0 win  Clair Oblamski of Smith in her consolation first round match.Tousignant won game one in the consolation round 12-10 and closed it out with 11-6 and 11-7 wins in games two and three. She will play Katherine Savage of Amherst in the consolation quarterfinals on Saturday.

Tousignant finished her first season of intercollegiate lacrosse with a 9-11 record after losing to Savage 11-8, 11-9, 11-7 in the consolation quarters.
