Trio of Seniors to Captain Saints in 2013-14

May 24: St. Lawrence University head women's hockey coach Chris Wells has announced that the trio of Dayle Wilkinson ‘14, Mel Desrochers ‘14 and Rylee Smith '14 will serve as captains for the upcoming 2013-14 season.

Woods’ Hat Trick Lifts #3 Cornell Past Saints in ECAC Hockey Semifinals

Mar. 9: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team rallied from a two-goal deficit in the second period to tie the score at 2-2 with the hosting Big Red heading into the third period of Saturday's ECAC Hockey semifinal game in Ithaca, NY. However, Taylor Woods' third goal of the game proved to be the game-winner, coming with only 1:51 left, lifting the Big Red to the conference championship game on Sunday behind a 4-2 victory against the Saints.

Mar. 9: Saturday's ECAC Hockey semifinals and Sunday's championship game will be broadcast live in HD on ESPN3, thanks to RPI TV.  St. Lawrence squares off with nationally-ranked No. 3 Cornell at Lynah Rink in Ithaca, NY at 1:00pm on Saturday, while Harvard and Clarkson play the following game, slated for 4:00pm.

Boulier, Sabatine and McRae Earn ECAC Hockey Honors

Mar. 8: ECAC Hockey announced its 2013 award winners and all-conference teams on Friday night at the annual awards banquet in conjunction with championship weekend in Ithaca, NY. Three St. Lawrence University women's hockey players earned recognition from the league, including Amanda Boulier, captain Kelly Sabatine and rookie Abbey McRae.

Seniors, MacDonald Leads Saints Past Bobcats into ECAC Hockey Semifinals

Mar. 3: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team took another step towards defending its conference crown on Sunday, defeating Quinnipiac University 2-0 in Hamden, CT in the deciding game of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal series. Four members of the Saints' Class of 2013 had points, including Brooke Fernandez, whose goal tied for the most by a defenseman in University history.

Quinnipiac Wins in Triple OT, Sets up Deciding Game Three

Mar. 2: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team battled back from a 2-0 deficit in the final :32 seconds of regulation to force overtime against Quinnipiac University on Saturday afternoon in game two of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals in Hamden, CT. However, after two overtimes, Amanda Colin would win it for the Bobcats on a slick breakaway move, setting up a deciding game three tomorrow afternoon at 2:00pm.

Raniwsky’s Overtime Goal Gives Saints 1-0 Series Lead

Mar. 1: It took nearly 71:00 minutes of hockey, but the St. Lawrence University women's hockey team got its ECAC Hockey title defense underway successfully on Friday evening. Sophomore Kayla Raniwsky scored at 10:56 of overtime on a wrap-around try from behind the net, giving the Saints a thrilling 1-0 quarterfinal game one victory over Quinnipiac University at the High Point Solutions Arena in Hamden, CT.

Fernandez Named Finalist for ECAC Hockey’s Student-Athlete of the Year

Feb. 25: Senior defenseman Brooke Fernandez has been named St. Lawrence University's finalist for ECAC Hockey's 2013 Student-Athlete of the Year Award.

Nanji, Dartmouth Drop Saints in Regular Season Finale

Feb. 23: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team will hit the road for the 2013 ECAC Hockey Tournament, as Dartmouth College got two goals from Sasha Nanji en route to a big 7-2 victory over the Saints at Thompson Arena in Hanover, NH on "Senior Day."

Saints Earn Crucial 2-2 Tie with No. 5 Harvard

Feb. 22: For the second time this season, the St. Lawrence University women's hockey team forced an overtime period with nationally-ranked No. 5 Harvard University. This time, though, the Saints came away from the Bright Hockey Center in Cambridge, MA with a big point in the ECAC Hockey standings, earning a 2-2 tie with the Crimson thanks to a 35-save performance by sophomore goalie Carmen MacDonald.
