May 13: The St. Lawrence University men's rowing team came into form late in the season, and their impressive rowing continued at the 2013 ECAC Championships in Worcester, MA on Sunday.
May 6: The St. Lawrence University men's crew team had an impressive outing at the 2013 New York State Championships in Whitney Point, NY this weekend. Despite a late spring and limited water time, the Saints' varsity 8+ won the petite final and the second varsity 8+ climbed two spots to finish fourth in the grand final.
Apr. 29: The St. Lawrence University men's crew team competed in a pair of races on Sunday at the 2013 Liberty League Championships in Saratoga, NY. Following the races, Michael Brewer and Ted Marr were selected as individual All-Conference honorees for the Scarlet and Brown.
Apr. 21: The St. Lawrence University men's crew team earned three wins on Sunday afternoon on the Mohawk River, sweeping Union College in dual-races on the 2000m course.
Apr. 15: The St. Lawrence University men's crew team raced against Ithaca College and Skidmore College at Cayuga Inlet in Ithaca, NY on Saturday morning. The Saints varsity 8+ boat beat Liberty League rival Skidmore while finishing behind Ithaca, while the novice 8+ narrowly lost to the Bombers by a mere .7 seconds.
At Andover High School
Pratt was a stand-out honor roll student-athlete, completing on the crew team while earning both the school's chemistry and biology awards.
At Longmeadow High School
Grow was an honor roll student, competing for both the tennis and ski racing teams. The Longmeadow, MA native earned skiing's All-Scholastic honors.
Apr. 2: The St. Lawrence University men's novice four won its race with the novice 8 finishing second at the Rochester Sprints hosted by RIT to open the 2013 spring rowing season.
At Holland Patent
Lynskey Jr. was a tri-sport athlete, competing on the soccer, basketball and track and field teams. The Hinckley, NY native, who was inducted into the National Honor Society, captained both the soccer and track squads.
At Charles W. Baker High School
Dalaba was a three-sport athlete, competing in cross country, track and field and swimming. The Baldwinsville, NY native was a two-sport captain and won both the school's Sportsmanship Honor Award" and the "Service Award." Dalaba was also an excellent student, earning induction into both the National and Spanish Honor Socieites and a place on the high honor roll.
