Feb. 8: St. Lawrence battled from behind in the third period for the third straight Friday, but had its six-game unbeaten streak snapped at Appleton Arena when Rensselaer senior wing CJ Lee scored on a shot from behind the goal line which deflected into the net off the blocker of goalie Matt Weninger for a 4-3 RPI win.
Feb. 2: Sophomore John Lidgett hopped off the Colgate bench, took a lead pass from defenseman Thomas Larkin and scored on a breakaway with 3:04 to go in regulation time, lifting Colgate to a 3-3 tie in a ECAC Hockey game at St. Lawrence Saturday night, snapping a three-game Saint win streak.
Feb. 1: St. Lawrence University junior wing Greg Carey put his team ahead with a goal on a major power play with 4:55 to play in regulation time and center Kyle Essery added an empty net goal with 1:31 to go as St. Lawrence University came from behind to beat Cornell 4-2 in a ECAC Division I men's hockey game at Appleton Arena in Canton Friday night.
Jan. 26: George Hughes stepped off the Saint bench, into the Harvard offensive zone and launched a bomb from just inside the blue line which lifted St. Lawrence University's hockey team to a 4-3 overtime victory at Harvard on Saturday night and a sweep of its ECAC weekend series.
Jan. 25: St. Lawrence University's big guns rose to the challenge Friday night, combining for a pile of points and a huge ECAC Hockey road win over Dartmouth 4-2 in Hanover.
Jan. 19: St. Lawrence University's five-game ECAC Hockey losing streak to arch-rival Clarkson came to an end at Clarkson's Cheel Arena Saturday night, but things could have been a lot better for the Saints.
Jan. 12: Sophomore wing Chris Martin snapped out of a goal-scoring slump with two third period goals and St. Lawrence junior goaltender Matt Weninger came up big and got some help from the post in a wild final minute as the Saints held off Brown 3-2 in a ECAC Hockey game at Appleton Arena Saturday night.
Jan. 12: The frustrations continued for St. Lawrence University's men's hockey team as far as finding ECAC Hockey success on Friday night as despite a solid effort by the Saints, Yale came away with a 5-3 win at Appleton Arena, dropping the Saints to 1-5-2 in league play and into 12th in the league standings.
Jan. 9: St. Lawrence University freshman forward Sean McGovern has been named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week for the week of Jan. 5 in voting by the league's coaches.
