I grew up in a small, rural town in central New York, where being immersed in nature fostered my fascination of life and the subject of biology. At St. Lawrence I have been able to cultivate this passion with courses such as Behavioral Ecology, Mammalogy, and Genetics. Becoming a Teaching Assistant for General Biology and Evolution courses has provided an even greater learning experience. In my spare time I enjoy catching a movie in the Student Center with friends or going for a run. After graduation I would like to attend graduate school to study Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in hopes of conducting research or teaching at a small liberal arts college like St. Lawrence.
