Passover is an eight day Jewish holiday, marking the birth of the Jews as a people and their emergence as a unique nation in history. It celebrates the liberation of the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt over 3000 years ago, under the leadership of Moses. The Seder is a ritual banquet which reenacts the Exodus and invites refection what it means to be free. This year the Seder will be led by Mark Lowell.
The cost is $20 for adults, and students may use their meal card. The Chaplain’s Office will assist any student not on the meal plan. For children 5-9 the cost is $10.00 and children under 5 are free. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know.
Please send reservations to Marcia Bradley at 229-5360 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please indicate if you are a student (and if you have a meal plan), faculty/staff, or a member of the local community.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
