BothThis required course is taught by the Director. The aims of this course are ambitious-observing and reflecting on a complex, always changing urban culture with the objective of getting you to know more about London as a global city and about yourself. The course encompasses two primary components. The first runs currently with the electives in the first ten weeks of the program and includes experiential elements involving interaction with other Londoners, field trips within and beyond London, interviewing, discussing, reading and writing assignments, and independent work. This course requires your sensitivity, openness to what is around you, and intellectual curiosity.
The initial 10 weeks of the course creates the context for the second component which takes place in the final four weeks of the program when you will undertake a 40-hour a week work placement. The work schedule is complemented with reflective and analytical writing assignments| Attachment | Size |
