The Department of Economics at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning in fall 2014. The Department of Economics consists of 11 members covering a broad array of fields. As a department, we are committed to excellence in both teaching and research. We seek candidates prepared to teach courses and conduct research in areas related to financial economics and/or macroeconomics. While secondary fields are open, the capacity to contribute towards teaching a quantitative methods course as well as a capacity to teach courses on emerging economies is desirable. A Ph.D. is preferred but ABDs near completion may be considered.
