Economics Majors, the Minor, and Related Programs
There are many opportunities for students wishing to concentrate in economics. Students interested in majoring in economics should take Economics 100 (Introduction to Economics) as early as possible, preferably during their first year. Credit for Economics 100 will be granted to students who earn a grade of 4 or 5 on the College Board's Advanced Placement Examinations in microeconomics or macroeconomics.
