I loved both my FYP and FYS. Over winter break, I went to China for 2 weeks with seven other students from my FYP. It was an amazing experience and made me excited to travel in Asia again. For my FYS, I volunteered at Akwesasne Reservation, about an hour away from campus. The reservation has such of wealth of cultural history that lives on today.

I am a copy editor and writer on the Hill News, member of Literacy for Nepal, a SLU Buddy, and a CA. I received the Bradley R. Evers Outstanding First Year Student Award in 2012. I love to be outdoors and go running or hiking.
