Climate Wars: Tar Sands, Keystone XL, and US

On February, 17, 2013, eleven St. Lawrence students joined with 50,000 activists in Washington D.C. to protest the Keystone XL Pipeline. The approval of this pipeline is not a political decision, it is ethical. David Smith'15 (Environmental Studies/Geology major), participated in the protest and will recount his experiences and present on what is known about the project and approval process and arguments for and against the project.
