Quiet Study

From now until the end of Finals' Week the Yellow Pipe Room has been designated to be a Quiet Study Area. Please turn off your phones and refrain from any conversations, including group project work, while in the Yellow Pipe Room. Enjoy the peace and quiet!

The recently renovated Cole Reading Room is another excellent option for quiet study.

New Science Librarian

Please join us in welcoming Gwen Cunningham as St. Lawrence University's new (interim) Science Librarian.  Gwen offers instruction on the use of library resources for faculty and students in the sciences.  She is also responsible for the library services and collections of the Launders Science Library and provides reference services and research consultations for patrons of LSL.

Save the River Records

This collection documents the activities of Save The River, from its founding in 1978 to present, although some of the earliest years have gaps. The original order of the records is uncertain, reflecting the early evolution of the organization. The collection has been arranged into series in consultation with the current administration of Save The River.

Photogrammar

Photogrammar is a collection of 170,000+ photographs from 1935 to 1945 created by the United State’s Farm Security Administration and Office of War Information (FSA-OWI). The original photographs are part of the collection of the Library of Congress, and Yale University is making the digital versions available.
