Anthropological Literature

Comprehensive indexing for the fields of anthropology, archaeology and related interdisciplinary research. Specifically, this includes social and cultural anthropology, Old and New World archaeology, physical anthropology and anthropological aspects of related subjects, emphasizing Mesoamerican, Native American and Andean archaeology and ethnology. Published by the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University, Anthropological Literature indexes articles, reports, commentaries and obituaries found in nearly 700 journals and monographic series.

From the American Anthropological Association, this database indexes and provides online access to current issues for 15 of the AAA's most critical peer-reviewed publications including American Anthropologist, American Ethnologist, Anthropology and Education Quarterly, Anthropology and Humanism, Archaeological Publications of the American Anthropological Association, Cultural Anthropology, Ethos, Journal of Linguistic Anthropology, Medical Anthropology Quarterly, NAPA Bulletin, and PoLAR: The Political and Legal Anthropology Review.

EconLit

The American Economic Association's database provides citations and abstracts to economic research dating back to 1886. EconLit has fulltext for over 600 journals, including the American Economic Association journals up to current issues (American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Literature, and Journal of Economic Perspectives).

Ethnic NewsWatch

Full-text newspapers, magazines, and journals of the ethnic and minority press.  Includes popular, news and community publications as well as scholarly journals.  Ethnic categories covered include African American/Caribbean/African, Arab/Middle Eastern, Asian/Pacific Islander, European/Eastern European, Hispanic, Jewish, and Native People.  Nearly a quarter of the material in the collection is in Spanish.  Updated daily.

MLA International

The MLA International Bibliography provides a subject index for books and articles published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. It is compiled by the staff of the MLA Office of Bibliographic Information Services with the cooperation of more than 100 contributing bibliographers in the United States and abroad. The MLA International Bibliography annually indexes over 66,000 books and articles.
