The department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science held the 4th annual Piathlon in celebration of Pie day. The goal is to complete as close to Pi events as possible, which is not an easy task! This year's first place team estimated Pi to the 6th decimal place! There is also a special prize for memorizing the most digits of Pi. This year, Mitch Joseph ('15) took home the Mrs Fields Medal by reciting an impressive 386 digits of Pi!!!
