Presenting the results of their original research at an academic gathering isn't an activity just for St. Lawrence faculty -- students in mathematics and psychology have presented work at recent conferences, too.

Students from St. Lawrence University attended the Hudson River Undergraduate Mathematics Conference held at Vassar College in the spring, and five students -- Allen Zoracki, Aileen Ang, Leslie McCabe, Christopher Wilcox and Doug Chimento -- gave talks as well.

St. Lawrence students and faculty also participated in the Eastern Psychological Association conference held in Baltimore during the spring.

Students presenting the results of their research at the conferences got good practice for another annual spring event, the St. Lawrence University Festival of Science. Many of the students participating in the academic conferences also present the results of their original research to the campus community at the Festival.
