Howard Eissenstat
Assistant Professor of History Howard Eissenstat was a panelist for an event titled "Turkish Democracy: A Model Abroad, Troubled at Home?," hosted by the Project on Middle East Democracy (POMED), discussing Turkey's increasingly important role on the world stage. The event was held February 22, 2012 in Washington, DC.

The panel featured, in addition to Eissenstat, Executive Director of the Institute for Turkish Studies Sinan Ciddi and former ambassador to Turkey and current Director of the Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center at the Atlantic Council Ross Wilson. The panel was moderated by POMED's Senior Research Associate Daphne McCurdy.
