St. Lawrence News

Nigel Fellman Greene '09, of Medfield, MA, the president of the SLU Coalition on Climate Change, is the winner of the national "Hot Spot" video contest sponsored by the League of Conservation Voters. The 30-second video he made will be sent to presidential candidates, and he's being sent to the New York Live Earth concert taking place on July 7.

Fellman Greene shot his 30-second video spot at St. Lawrence's Canaras Conference Center in the Adirondacks and posted it on the video-sharing site YouTube. The contest called for videos to convince presidential candidates to make global warming a priority in their campaigns, and eventually, in their administration. The winnning video will be sent to all presidential candidates.

A biology major, Fellman Greene participated in the Adirondack Semester and is a member of the campus chapter of Democracy Matters.
