Sigma Pi Sigma, the physics honorary, recently inducted two new student members into the society, as well as a visiting faculty member. Christopher Funch '11 and Richards G. (Chad)
Miller III '10 were both inducted. Miller was abroad for the spring semester and inducted in absentia. Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics Stephen Koons was also elected.
St. Lawrence is home to the ninth chapter of Sigma Pi Sigma, formed in 1929.
The requirements for Sigma Pi Sigma are a minimum of three college semesters; three courses in physics; physics cumulative average of 3.0 or higher; and a ranking in the upper third of a student's class.
