The Upstate New York Chapter of the Visual Resources Association held its annual meeting on November 5, 2010 in the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery at St. Lawrence. The organization, of which the gallery is a member, is "is a non-profit organization established to further research and education in the field of visual resources and to promote a spirit of cooperation among the members of the profession."
The 10 participants were given a tour of the gallery's collection of West African textiles, a gift of Chris Roy '70 and Nora Leonard Roy '69. The gallery has been documenting the collection with digital images.
The meeting included representatives from Binghamton, Hartwick, Colgate, RPI, Alfred, Williams and Union, as well as Gallery Director Cathy Tedford, Assistant Director Carole Mathey and Arts Metadate Technician Arline Wolfe.
