I became a neuroscience major because I love the multidisciplinary focus of the program and the broad foundation in biological and behavioral sciences emphasized by the neuroscience program. The support I get from my professors to pursue my own interests in the field gives me confidence that my degree can take me in any direction I choose. I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to study abroad in both France and Copenhagen, and I'm really enjoying my senior research project in maternal nutrition and infant neurodevelopment with Kari Heckman! I am currently pursuing a Health Coaching Certification in Integrative Nutrition and plan to earn my masters degree in order to become a Registered Dietician.
