Carotenuto Elected to Africa Network Board of Directors

Matt Carotenuto, associate professor of history and coordinator of African Studies, has recently been elected to the Board of Directors of Africa Network.

Africa Network is a an organization whose mission is “to develop and enhance a lasting presence for Africa in the academic programs and campus life of the nation’s liberal arts institutions.”

He will begin a five year term in July and work on a number of projects to strengthen partnerships between liberal arts institutions and raise the profile of African studies in the undergraduate curriculum.
