Mediation Center

We are pleased to announce the opening of the St. Lawrence University Mediation Center.  A joint effort of Student Life, the Chaplain's Office, and the Peace Studies Program, the Center offers mediation services for anyone in the campus community.  We have students trained in mediation who can help resolve student conflicts and disputes, and faculty and staff mediators who can help with conflicts or disputes concerning faculty or staff.  All of the mediators on campus have had at least 32 hours of New York State Certified Mediation Training.

We can be reached at mediation@stlawu.edu, by telephone at 229-5141, or feel free to drop by the Mediation Intern's office in the Sullivan Student Center, Room 326.  Our Mediation Intern, Kathleen Berman '12, will be staffing the Center during the hours posted on our website, and encourages people to drop by to ask questions.

For more information, please see our website.

With many thanks to all who have assisted us and supported us in this endeavor,

The Mediation Center Coordinating Committee:
Laura Rediehs, Kathleen Buckley, Matha Thornton, and Kathleen Berman '12
