CA Reference Form

The Community Assistant (CA) is a part-time, para-professional student staff member of the Office of Residence Life. Being a CA implies both a strong commitment to the residential experience as a community member and a sincere interest in each student as an individual. The function of the CA is to create and facilitate an environment which is conducive to and in line with the academic mission of the university. Each CA is expected to contribute to the educational, cultural and social development of each of their residents.

Special Note for FYP Faculty: If there is a specific CA candidate that you would like to have connected to your FYP please be sure to submit a recommendation for this CA candidate and make a note of this within the reference form.  You may also contact Lauren Stemler, CA Selection Coordinator, with any requests or to discuss these opportunities more.
