ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF STUDENT ACTIVITIES AND LEADERSHIP
St. Lawrence University seeks a committed, creative, engaged educator and invites applications and nominations for the position of Associate Director of Student Activities and Leadership. The Associate Director will work with a professional team to develop and implement a comprehensive co-curricular program that is academically and socially stimulating. Strong organizational skills, energy, innovation, motivation and a good sense of humor are a must.
Primary job responsibilities include: advising the student programming board; supervision of student social space and late night/weekend programming; advising Greek organizations; and leadership training and development. Additional responsibilities include: participation in special event committees including First Year Cup and Winter Weekend; the creation and implementation of multicultural programming; new student orientation; as well as committee and project involvement within the division for student life.
Qualifications: Master’s degree required with an emphasis in student personnel, counseling, or related field; 1-3 years experience in student activities, leadership training, and/or union programming required.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
