Courtesy note: A gratuity to your driver for excellent service is customary and is not included in the price of your ticket. A gratuity of 10% - 20% per person is the norm. Thank you.

Monday- Saturday, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.,
Sunday: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., academic year only

Free Canton services for SLU students only with ID
Subsidized service for other destinations (first $5 of any trip is paid by St. Lawrence.)


Airport and Transportation Center Taxi Services:

St. Lawrence students only: taxi options will provide service to the airports at Syracuse, Ottawa, Montreal, Watertown, Ogdensburg, and Massena.

Free At each official semester vacation or break
Free Once each semester per student for personal use
Free Unlimited family emergency trips as verified by the Dean’s office
Free One interview trip for seniors as verified by the Career Services office

ID and train or airline ticket required for the ride!
You must show a valid St. Lawrence ID card, with a copy of your train or airline ticket, showing your ride or flight number and departure/arrival times.

Make Advanced Reservations!

  • Option 1: 72 Hours in advance through Potsdam Taxi (315) 265-7506
  • Option 2: (To and From Ottawa Airport only!) 24 hours in advance through West-Way Taxi, Ottawa (613) 727-0166. Make reservations with Leslie Adams.
  • Option 3: If you need taxi service to and from Montreal airport, bus station or train station ONLY, Potsdam Taxi and Westway Taxi are both able to facilitate taxi service to Montreal.

What if My Plans Change?

You may cancel without charge up to 12 hours before departure or pick-up. Cancellations made within 12 hours of reservation are subject to charges as follows:

Potsdam Taxi Cancellation fees:
  $15 to Ogdensburg and Massena
  $50 to Syracuse, Ottawa, and Montreal
 
   
   
   

West-Way Taxi Cancellation fees:
  $50 if pick up is St. Lawrence University.
  $50 if pick up is Ottawa Airport.
 

No-shows will be billed full price of the service reserved.
