2007: Walsh served as a back-up along the Saints' defensive line in his first season with the Scarlet and Brown. The Springvale, ME native is a member of Male Athletes Against Sexual Violence (MAASV).

At Sanford High School

Walsh was a dual-sport athlete, competing in both Football and Basketball. The Springvale, ME native captained the football team his senior season, and served as the captain of the basketball squad each of his final two years. Walsh was a three-year starter in each sport, and matched his athletic accomplishments with academic ones, as he was on the Honor Roll all four years at Sanford.
