Burdick

Jared Burdick - RIT

RIT senior Jared Burdick helped his team to a second place finish at the University of Albany Invite this past Saturday. The only team to best the Tigers was the Red Foxes of Marist. Burdick finished third out of 189 runners with a very fast time of 24:44.

 

Ferro

Marie Ferro - RPI

RPI freshman Marie Ferro was the first collegiate finisher (second overall) at Saturday’s Plansky Invite. Ferro bested the 53 runner field, clocking a time of 23:55 over the six kilometer course. Ferro helped the Engineers to the team title with an impressive 24 team points.

Dan Ramsey - St. Lawrence University

Dan won his second straight Liberty League individual title and helped lead the Saints to their 15th straight conference championship.

 

Ludington

Johannah Ludington - St. Lawrence University

Johanna made her first colligiate victory a big one as she won the individual title at the Liberty League Championships, leading the Saints to the team title.

Peter Kosgei - Hamilton

Hamilton College senior Peter Kosgei was the top division III collegiate finisher (4th overall) on Saturday’s 36th annual Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University.  Kosgei covered the 8k course in a time of 23:42, just two seconds off the winning time.

 

 

Pavlus

Wendy Pavlus - St. Lawrence

St. Lawrence University junior Wendy Pavlus was the top division III collegiate finisher (31st overall) on Saturday’s 36th annual Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University.  Pavlus covered the 6k course in a time of 21:16, a new personal best time.

Burdick

Jared Burdick - RIT

RIT senior Jared Burdick helped his team to a convincing win at Houghton this past Saturday. Burdick finished first of 132 runners at the Houghton Highlander Invitational. He completed the 8,000-meter course in 25:27.20 for the Tigers, who easily won the meet with the top five finishers.

 

Norton

Lauren Norton - UR

University of Rochester sophomore Lauren Norton was the second collegiate finisher at Saturday’s Harry Anderson Invite, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College. Norton, running her first race of the season, was clocked in 18:56.56 to finish second. Norton helped the Yellow Jackets to the team title with an impressive 22 team points.

Ramsey

Dan Ramsey - St. Lawrence University

Dan placed 1st at the Ronald C. Hoffmann Invitational last weekend with a time of 25:08. He led the Saints to a second place team finish behind the defending national champions from Cortland. Dan's finish time was the third fastest ever recorded on the Hoffmann course that has hosted several championship meets including NYSCTC and the 2004 and 2008 NCAA Atlantic Regional.

 

Pavlus

Wendy Pavlus - St. Lawrence University

Wendy placed 1st at the Ronald C. Hoffmann Invitational last weekend with a time of 22:20. She led the Saints team to a first place finish over, nationaly ranked, SUNY Cortland. She also led a sweep of the first four positions along with teammates Hulton, Ludington and Lemme. Her performance accounts for the 7th fastest time ever run on the Hoffmann cross country course.

Hardbarger

Senior MIKE HARDBARGER of the RIT men's cross country team placed first out of 138 runners, at the Warde Invitational hosted by SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday.  He broke an 18-year old course record, finishing the 8,000-meter race in a time of 27:13.29.  He led the top four finishers from RIT, as the Tigers easily won the Warde Invitational.

 

King

Freshman ABBY KING finished first of 77 runners and led HAMILTON COLLEGE to the team title in its own short course invitational on Sept. 12.King finished with a time of 15:16.3 on the 4,000-meter course.
