St. Lawrence introduces new majors in international economics and languages
Starting with the fall 2009 semester, St. Lawrence University will offer four new combined majors in economics and foreign languages. The new combined majors are offered in international economics/Spanish; international economics/German; international economics/French; and international economics/multi-language.

Penguins Cup Run Aided by Duo with SLU Connections
The Pittsburgh Penguins came a long way from a 2005-06 team that was dead-last in the standings to 2008-09 Stanley Cup champion, and they can thank the work of two key members of their player development staff with strong St. Lawrence University ties - Ray Shero '84 and former SLU assistant men's hockey coach Jay Heinbuck.

Web Site NEW Features, Updates, and Reminders

: We've created a central location for all St. Lawrence videos! Now you can visit our Media Room to see Student Views Videos by Chelsea Nuffer '10, the SLU helicopter video and any other videos we create over the next months. This week, Chelsea talks with members of the Alumni Executive Council about their motivation for volunteering.

Helicopter Video View of the North Country!

St. Lawrence collaborated with several regional institutions to commission a helicopter video of the North Country. Enjoy the video tour that begins with a bird's eye view of our varsity crew team practicing on the St. Lawrence river, then shares the Thousands Islands region, Canton, the St. Lawrence campus, the foothills of the Adirondacks, Canaras and the Upper Saranac Lake region.
