Princeton Review Cites St. Lawrence University In 'Best Colleges' Book
The Princeton Review
has rated St. Lawrence University as one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education. St. Lawrence got glowing reviews from students surveyed, especially in academics and quality of life on campus. The book states, for example, "Students at St. Lawrence love their professors," and "students rave about small class sizes." One student's quote states, "All of my professors have been extremely accessible and willing to help out if I've ever had questions. The quality of the professors is very high."

St. Lawrence Elects John D. Richardson '03 To Board Of Trustees
John D. Richardson, a 2003 graduate of St. Lawrence University, has been elected to a four-year term on the Board of Trustees, effective July 1.

Michael Archibald Is President Of Golden Bear Education Foundation
Vice President for University Advancement Michael Archibald has been elected president of the Canton Golden Bear Education Foundation, founded in 2008 as a charitable organization whose purpose is "to accept and administer gifts for charitable purposes, providing enrichment and enhancement of educational programs and opportunities for students by securing and distributing financial and other resources for the Canton Central School District and its students."

Web Site NEW Features, Updates, and Reminders

SLU Media Room
: We've collected up and created a central location for all St. Lawrence videos! Now you can visit our Media Room to see past Student Views Videos by Chelsea Nuffer '10, the SLU helicopter video and any other videos we create over the next months.

This week, Chelsea challenges the Admissions Interns to FunFastFacts, a game they play to remember all the great details about St. Lawrence. Quick! When was St. Lawrence founded? How many majors do we have? Student: faculty ratio? Is campus wireless? Play along with Chelsea and the interns. How well will you do? Go directly to Chelsea's new video.

Last week:
Chelsea takes a hard-hat tour of campus to preview the summer renovations projects, including residence hall refurbishments; a new, energy-efficient cooling system for Appleton Hockey Arena and expansion of the arts performance facilities.

Helicopter Video View of the North Country!

St. Lawrence collaborated with several regional institutions to commission a helicopter video of the North Country. Enjoy the video tour that begins with a bird's eye view of our varsity crew team practicing on the St. Lawrence river, then shares the Thousands Islands region, Canton, the St. Lawrence campus, the foothills of the Adirondacks, Canaras and the Upper Saranac Lake region.
