Rescheduled: St. Lawrence Writers Series to Feature Bernard Cooper on Feb. 21
Award-winning memoirist, novelist and short-story writer Bernard Cooper, who was originally scheduled to visit campus Jan. 31, will speak and read from recent work in an appearance at St. Lawrence University on Thursday, February 21, at 8 p.m. in the Common Room of Sykes Residence Hall. Part of the University's Writers Series, the event is open to the public, free of charge.

Men's Hockey Sweeps Weekend, Including Knocking Off No. 1 Team
The men's hockey team had a weekend to remember, starting with a 2-1 win over No. 1 in the nation Quinnipiac, riding a 21-game unbeaten streak, and finishing with a 3-2 victory at Princeton. The Saints, 7-1-2 in their last 10 games, are in a tie for third place with Union with two weekends left in the ECAC regular season. Women's hockey beat Princeton 4-2 and tied Quinnipiac 1-1 and are fourth in conference standings heading into their final weekend. Women's basketball lost 73-65 at RIT and 72-70 at William Smith, while men's basketball lost 73-60 at RIT and 77-60 at Hobart. Divya Biswal '15 and Ella Martin '16 set St. Lawrence records for the women's track and field team at Cornell. Men's track and field was paced by wins from Andy Fisher '13 in the 300 and Spencer Patterson '16 in the mile. Women's squash went 2-1 to finish third in the Epps Cup, beating Boston College and Georgetown 7-2, but losing 6-3 to William Smith. Nordic skiing competed at the Middlebury Carnival with two Saints placing in the top 20: Kelsey Nichols '13 earned a career-best 16th place finish in the women's 15k Free while Austin Meng '15 placed 20th in the 20k Free, his fourth top 20 finish.
