| Four Laurentians Win in Kenya Elections Four St. Lawrence University alumni were elected as members of Kenya's new National Assembly during elections last week in the East African nation. Results were verified by the Electoral Commission in Kenya on March 9. Full Story |

| Crimmel Colloquium at SLU to Focus on Future of Liberal Arts Gene Tobin, a program officer for the Liberal Arts Colleges Program at The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, will give a talk, “The Future of Liberal Arts Colleges,” on Tuesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. in Eben Holden at St. Lawrence University. The event, which is part of the University's Hays and Margaret Crimmel Colloquium on Liberal Education, is open to the public, free of charge. Full Story |

The men's ice hockey team defeated Colgate 4-2 on Friday and 4-1 on Saturday in a best-of-three series to clinch a spot in the ECAC Quarterfinals this weekend, where they'll play Yale. Women's track and field celebrated two All-Americans at NCAA's with Divya Biswal '15 placing second in the triple jump and Ella Martin '16 finishing 7th in the 5,000 meters. Austin Meng '15 represented the Nordic ski team and placed 30th in the 10K Classic at NCAA's, while Ashley-Kate Durham '13 finished 14th in the Slalom and Graham Scott '15 was 11 in the Giant Slalom for the Alpine ski team. The regionally-ranked women's tennis team defeated New Paltz 6-3 on Friday. Women's hockey played tough against Cornell in the ECAC Hockey semifinals, but fell to the Big Red 4-2 on Saturday. Men's lacrosse split last week, defeating Adrian 10-7 on Wednesday but falling to Nazareth 12-9 on Sunday. Softball has split its first four contests, defeating Manhattan College 4-3 but falling to Case Western Reserve 6-0, then falling to Monmouth 3-0 and coming back for a 5-2 victory against Becker. Baseball defeated Mitchell 6-0 then lost two to Gettysburg, 4-0 and 3-0. Women's lacrosse dropped its season opener to Brockport, 9-8. More Saints Sports |
