    St. Lawrence University President William L. Fox ’75 announced today that Karl Schonberg will serve as the University’s next Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs, effective July 1, 2016.

    St. Lawrence Students Advance at Fed Challenge

    St. Lawrence University’s Fed Challenge team has advanced to the semifinal round, which will take place on Nov. 16 at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

    Quad Named for Brush; Gift to Renovate Walkways

    The newly renovated Quad at St. Lawrence University was made possible by a generous gift from one of the University’s most exemplary benefactors, creating new entrances that will enhance the central green space on campus.

  6. St. Lawrence University Expands Its Use of Clean Energy

    St. Lawrence University has entered into two long-term agreements that will provide approximately half of the University’s electrical power needs with renewable clean energy. Together with their clean energy offset purchase program, these agreements will ensure that nearly 100 percent of St. Lawrence University’s electricity will come from clean sources by summer of 2016.

    Pre-Med Student Inspired by Her Own Medical History

    At the age of three, Morgan O’Hare '16 was diagnosed with a form a childhood cancer of the eye, known as retinoblastoma, and had to have one of her eyes removed. All the years of close medical attention and therapy, though, is something that she attributes to her interest in medicine today.

    St. Lawrence University will receive nearly a quarter-million dollars from a private philanthropic foundation to advance a summer immersion program for first-year international students, develop faculty and staff training workshops and create an ambassador program with first-year domestic students.
